Door Desk -A whole lot of space for creating!

A simple, easy, and oh so cheap way to make a desk is to make one from an old door. This one is topped with frosted glass.
Find it here...

I love the look of the shabby door under clear glass. This one is on saw horses and found on a very inspiring blog here...

I like the shelf under this one with the curtain on one end and filing cabinet under the other end.

Just need a small desk? No problem, you can make one of those out of a door too! I love those shelves at the top.
I found this image on a really great site that has awesome pictures and ideas for reusing old doors as well as other sections on reusing others things...

Here's another one made in a similar style used as a vanity but could be a small desk area with big vintage style!
Found it on one of my favorite sites EVER... Junk Market Style...

Use a door for the background of your desk. Found this image here...

This one is a cutie! I love those architectural salvage pieces they used for the legs.
I found this one at Junk Market Style as well. If you go on their site and do a search for door you'll find all kinds of ways to use old doors.

So you may be wondering where you can find old doors and architectural elements and oh so cheap building materials. One of my favorite places to shop is my local Habitat for Humanity Restore.
Habitat for Humanity has building materials donated to them all the time, sometimes more than they can use so they sell the excess at their "Restores" at a deep discount.
I am including a link to their site where you can go and find a Habitat Restore near you.

Have a great day!
