I know the original story is alleging that Roger Helmer MEP has made a homophobic remark, but it is the quote below which really attracted my attention.
"Mr Helmer, MEP for Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Northamptonshire".
In my view, at the very least, there should be a MEP for each county for proper representation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
